Shalom Luxury Rooms is located at Kondylaki Street in the heart of the old town of Chania, Crete’s second largest city. Shalom was named after the Beth Shalom Synagogue which was destroyed during the bombardments of the 1941 war.
Shalom is ideally located centrally in the Venetian old harbor of Chania, where all restaurants and bars are and also numerous gift shops and coffee shops.
A car is not necessary if you are planning to spend your holidays around the city. Everything is within walking or cycling distance from Shalom, including the beach of Nea Chora.
Etz Hayyim Synagogue, the only remaining synagogue in Crete, is a few steps away from Shalom, while the Archaeological Museum of Chania, the Art Gallery and the Mosque of Kioutsouk Hassan are all located very close to Shalom.

Prepayment: 50% of the total amount may be charged anytime after booking. The rest 50% of the total amount will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival or during of the arrival. Breakfast: Room rates do not include breakfast. If you want breakfast it is charged 5 € per person per day and declare on arrival. Breakfast is NOT served in the rooms but at a cafe next to the rooms and you can choose between three types of breakfast.

Travel Information
Our rooms are located on the west side of the Old Town of Chania at Kondylaki Street which is a pedestrian street. Chania Airport is 11km away from the city center. If you choose to take a taxi from the airport it will leave you a few steps away from the rooms. If you choose to take the bus from the airport it will leave you at the central bus station at Kydonias Street which is 5-7 minutes walking to the rooms. There are many parking places to the streets around the rooms. You can park your car left or right of these streets: Chatzimichali Giannari, Skalidi, Pireos, Meletiou Piga and to the free municipality parking place at Plateia Talo to the north-west side of the Old Town of Chania.
